Growing Notes

Direct seeding is recommended. Roots are sensitive to disturbance. Sow outside 1 to 2 weeks after your average last frost date and at least 2 months before your first average fall frost date. Surface sow and press into the soil to make good seed to soil contact. Seed Spacing: A group of 3 seeds 2" apart, with 24"–36" between groups. Keep moist but not soggy. Days to emerge: 10-14 days. Thinning for larger plants (optional): When 3" tall, thin to 1-2 plants every 24"–36".
Start Inside: 6 to 8 weeks before your average last frost date. Roots are sensitive to disturbance; may want to sow in biodegradable pots that can be planted in the ground. Seed Depth: Press into surface. Days to Emerge: 10–14 days Top-dress with compost if needed. Let new plants come up each spring to assure plentiful, ever-increasing color! Zones 3-9.

Fantastic soap for the dermatitis and eczema prone
You guyyyyysss, my hands have no dry, itchy spots right now. None. This is remarkable because before now I have for years had issues with eczema/contact dermatitis patches that have at times (aka: most times) been pretty unbearable. To say that I’m overjoyed to have found a natural soap that truly works for me is an understatement. When you use this, you can feel that it’s moisturizing your skin. It’s fantastic. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and get yourself a bar. I’m wondering now if I can use it on my entire body and to wash my hair. That’s probably a little overboard, but it’s that good and now that I’ve used it I suspect all my skin problems are contact dermatitis that could be solved by the right soap/shampoo.

Best I’ve found yet for facial psoriasis
Anyone who has facial psoriasis will tell you there are not a lot of products that you can put on your face without irritation or flareups. This soap is just what I needed. There are no irritating chemicals or perfumes in this soap. I have read other reviews that the soap does not last very long but there is a way to use it to make it last. First, I wet my face and then I wet my fingertips and rub my finger tips across the dry bar of soap and then lightly rub my face with my fingertips softening the plaques and then lightly wash with a soft cotton washcloth. It is not really moisturizing but not over drying either. I follow up with an organic vegetable-based glycerin oil to moisturize. This is the best product I have found yet.

Gentle soap, great for hands and body!
I love how gentle this oatmeal soap is. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate my hands even when they are rough. I keep one at my sink and one in the shower. The natural scent is lovely and not overpowering. A must-buy for those looking for a mild cleanser!
